Continuing Series

Elevation of Mana 4 by Wandering Agent

Fourth book in a portal progression fantasy about a technology student pulled into a world where mana is the organizing principle of everything. Advancement here is qualitative, with few stat screens, so the power curve runs softer than most LitRPG. The tech-student background gives the protagonist a plausible reason to learn a foreign system quickly. Good fit for readers who want world-building and a methodical climb. Kindle Unlimited.

Golem Master 5 by TJ Lombardi

Pepper Walker builds and refines rune-powered constructs, then puts them in Golem League matches. The progression runs through the crafting: rune configurations determine how the golem behaves under pressure, so design choices are the build. Teen-rated, with school-life pacing and a slow-burn romance between arena sequences. Book five of a planned seven, with book six scheduled for January. Kindle Unlimited.

Shadowborn Exile 2 by Harmon Cooper

Podium’s soulslike descent series returns. Attica is a Vanguard of the Shadowborn in the Spiralrealm, a tiered world where descending means more danger and where the Flashwraiths are radiant horrors, which inverts the usual shadow-and-light grammar. Book two introduces Eli, a Lightborn child Attica is compelled to protect, adding a found-family thread to a story that had been built on solitude. The grimdark register holds throughout and information arrives in fragments. Kindle Unlimited.

Lord of the Fungal Spire by K. Georgiades

Book five of The Lone Wanderer. Percy’s bloodline sends clones across worlds to haul back alchemical secrets, which he converts into elixirs, techniques, and a second mana core. The alchemy is the progression system and it stays hands-on, from brewing Aurora Dew upward. Escalation is fast: four books took Percy from a Red-core failure to a hunted heretic with the Divine Order after him. Cultivation and crafting readers are the audience. Kindle Unlimited.

The Ruby Magician 2 by D. R. Hudgins

Tower-climbing LitRPG where Ardwyn Thatcher climbs to clear his father’s debt to loan sharks and gets saddled with a generalist class in a tower that rewards specialists. His advancement is social as well as statistical, since he has to convince climbers the Ruby Magician is worth a party slot before he can climb at all. Book two opens on the betrayal that closed the first, with a former teammate now inside the cult. Adventure-forward tone. Kindle Unlimited.

Zero.Hero 3 by J.D. Astra

The closing volume of a three-book superhero LitRPG. Four college students whose powers are wired to an RPG framework hold the line after a zombified hive mind takes their city and the ranked heroes vanish. Book three runs through the Astral Plane to an Earth-level threat and finishes Claire’s arc. The ensemble has real chemistry, though page time tilts heavily toward Claire and leaves her three teammates thinner. The series is now complete at three books. Kindle Unlimited.

Book of the Dead 5: Ascension by RinoZ

Necromancy treated as a structural power system. Advancement comes through sacrifice and study, and the cost of that advancement stays on the page instead of being waved off. The tone is heavy and remains heavy: death, undeath, and moral compromise are the material. Book five continues a run that has widened from claustrophobic early scenarios to political and metaphysical stakes. Readers who want humor alongside their mechanics have better options elsewhere on this list. Kindle Unlimited.

Derek’s Dungeon Depot 2 by Little Lynx

Merchant LitRPG where the supply chain and the dungeon run are the same system. Goods come in from delves and go out to other climbers, and the base grows because the business demands it. Book two raises pressure from both directions at once: the depot needs to scale and the dungeons need clearing to make that scaling possible. Base-building, inventory, and logistics carry as much weight as combat. Kindle Unlimited.

Mage Tank 5 by Cornman

Arlo took Fortitude over the expected Intelligence route and built a mage who wins by enduring what should have killed him. The books spend real attention on perks, tradeoffs, and evolutions, and the tactical openings come from refusing the obvious build path. Party banter is crass and the pacing slows down for build discussion, which is the appeal for crunch readers and the sticking point for everyone else. Book five of an ongoing run. Kindle Unlimited.

Unhuman Book 2 by Dmitry Sheleg

Portal progression fantasy written in second-person present tense, which puts the cold and the hunger directly in the reader’s body. Book one was a street orphan surviving on scavenged rats and theft in a medieval slum. Book two gives him two mentors, a slum power broker and an ancient mad mage, plus an actual class and a path forward. System mechanics stay lean so the setting can do the work. The opening stretch is genuinely grim. Book three is scheduled for late September. Kindle Unlimited.
