Everything below released on Kindle between September 22 and September 28, 2026, and every Kindle title here is in Kindle Unlimited. It was a sequel week: eight continuing series made the list, no first-in-series launch met our bar, and three new Royal Road serials are worth a look.
Continuing Series
Wage Slave to Archmage 9 by Mike Blackmoor
Finn is a former senior software engineer reborn as a mage’s apprentice in the city of Cinderhold. His System lets him rewrite spells and skills like source code, and every rewrite costs gold. That money-for-power loop drives the series, so alchemy, black-market tonics, and moneymaking schemes take up a large share of each book. Book nine brings Finn home to his manor with Edmund’s Light, a legendary mirror damaged by Abyssal corruption, and a powerful noble family that wants it. He is also developing a potion that could give magic to people born without talent, and the disappearance of his adventurers’ association head pulls him into Cinderhold’s trade in adventurers’ remains. The author states the series has no harem. Suits readers who enjoy an optimizer protagonist and a slow build of wealth and property alongside the leveling.
The Dao of Diligence 7 by A. R. He
Aurelian Chu is a transmigrated sect servant with a defective spirit root. His System turns repeated work into stats: carrying water raises his Constitution, and reading beginner manuals levels his Fire Control. Progression in this cultivation LitRPG comes from steady training, and the book shows each gain as a number. In book seven the Ethereal Sanctum, a power far above Aurelian’s cultivation realm, demands his death, and the Skysword Sect refuses to hand him over. He trains in a hidden realm where he gets years of practice while days pass outside, and he works to repay the elders who protected him. Book one has passed 1,600 ratings on Amazon. Suits cultivation readers who like sect politics and a protagonist who advances through consistent effort.
The Undying 3: Retaliation by Bainin
Asterion is a spatial mage of House Lysandor in the Warrior Republic, one of the last strongholds holding back the Void in the world of Elystria. Book three sends him and his companions with the Black Iron Band, a dwarven company pushing into the Wyrmwall to retake its lost holds, while invasion fleets and eastern armies close in on the Republic. Advancement is tier-based, and this volume moves Asterion toward the Crown tier and his place among the Undying, the rank he has been working toward since book one. Each book runs about 700 pages, and the series pairs war on a national scale with personal power growth. Suits readers who want a large cast, a besieged setting, and a long read.
Sworn to the Inn 5 by Cole Hayes
Rowan Hale survived six years of war and walked out of the Hall of Fates with the Innkeeper class, which he wanted because it promised a quiet life at a crossroads inn. The Hearthfire Inn books are short, at roughly 110 to 120 pages each, and every book closes its own story arc. In book five a quartermaster who was supposed to have died in the Shadow War arrives wounded, carrying a ledger that points to sealed military vaults and to House Thorne. The Hearthfire’s boundary can stop an army from crossing, so the danger falls on the people outside it. Suits readers who like innkeeper stories with political stakes and want a quick read with a finished arc.
Nightmare Mode by Geoffrey Brenna
Book three of Real World Online. Gareth Fain was abducted from a desert camping trip and taken light-years from Earth to a space station where life plays out inside a medieval fantasy game. Quests, levels, and skills work as a game system, and dying in the game carries real consequences. In this volume Gareth’s enemies find a way to reach his family on Earth, and the only way he can protect them is by pushing harder inside the game. This is trapped-in-a-game GameLit with a science fiction frame, and it runs close to 600 pages. Amazon lists a fourth book in the series. Suits readers who liked the VRMMO setups of early LitRPG and want higher personal stakes.
Ajax’s Ascension: Wild Lands by Keleros
Book seven of a reincarnation LitRPG that started on Royal Road, where it has more than 10,000 followers and 2.6 million views. Ajax is reborn on Gryndor with the mythical trait Divine Witness and a plan to live without regrets. Humanoids rank among the weakest races on Gryndor, confined to their own lands by dragons, elementals, and others, and Ajax levels through weapons training and magic to make the other races take humanity seriously. With his new Duchy in capable hands, he heads alone into the Wild Lands to find an edge and, if he can, form a bond with one of the Ascended races. Suits readers who want a long-running series with a mix of exploration, territory management, and combat.
The Marked and the Broken by Zaqterran
Book two of Chains of Heaven. Earth survived the Accord with its gods, and the price was a set of divine rules binding humanity. Cas, a sarcastic Australian, has his mana locked and his subclasses fractured, and his System no longer seems sure what to do with him. This book takes him across a transformed Egypt to the Procession, a moving fortress where the demigod Serediel rewrites prisoners’ names and identities into functions. His ability Chain-Sight sits at the center of the plot, because the series treats rules and names as chains in the same way it treats steel. Suits readers who like System apocalypse stories where the divine rules are the main opponent, told by a comedic narrator.
Chirurgeon 2 by Alex Savage
The narrator is a Pittsburgh emergency physician and former Army medic who wakes up in another world in the middle of treating a patient, with a System that raises his Triage skill each time he saves a life. He rides with the Hambledon Free Company, a mercenary band. Book two takes the company to Edgbaston, a quarantined city of forty thousand where creatures are wearing the residents, and a Witch Hunter’s only remedy is fire. The narrator carries the one instrument that can tell the innocent from the possessed, which makes him the person who decides who burns. The series also runs a harem thread, with three women in the company claiming him, and it gets real page time. Suits readers who want a noncombat class that levels through medical skill under pressure.
Notable on Royal Road
The Omnimancer by Vowron Prime
Jackson Collins dies on Mount Everest, finds a portal to another realm’s highest magic, and arrives with 30 million points to spend on a Gift that combines spells. Strong-to-stronger isekai LitRPG with kingdom building tags. It has about 1,900 followers and 99,000 views on Rising Stars this week. Serial, updating, free to read.
Reborn as a Demonic Rock by Roobit

Monster evolution LitRPG with a non-human lead and about 2,100 followers after 21 chapters.
Re: Villain (to Hero) by bor902
A tower climbing LitRPG. Nihil became a necromancer to survive the tower and stalled on the 99th floor. He goes back in time with his former enemy, Hope, to fix what went wrong, on the condition that he gives up necromancy and plays the hero. About 2,300 followers after 21 chapters. Good fit for readers who want a morally compromised lead on a redemption track.
