The headline this week is an ending. Tree of Aeons 8 closes out Spaizzzer’s eight-book isekai LitRPG about a man reincarnated as a tree, and the series moves onto our completed list. Everything below released between September 15 and September 21, 2026, and every Kindle title here is in Kindle Unlimited.
New Series
Nations of Magic by Lee Guo
David is reborn as the living command crystal of the city of Kanz, which gives him research menus, recruitment menus, and a treasury too small for all of it. The progression works at army scale. He binds willing heroes to himself, and each bond extends how much of the map he can see and cast into. The book calls itself LitRTS, and that is accurate. Resource management, unit composition, and territory control carry the plot, and his soldiers stay dead when they die. Read it if you liked the kingdom-building stretches of other base-building LitRPGs and wanted a whole book of that.
Dungeon Diving for Cursed Books by Warden Locke
Benjamin Bedric is a mechanic who gets pulled into a grimoire while repairing a library’s book bus. Each dungeon in this one is a cursed book he enters and clears from the inside. His family backstory is grim, and the book stays with that material for real page time. Progression runs on standard dungeon-delving character advancement with a collection hook stacked on top, since Benjamin is bound to gather the grimoires. This suits readers who want a self-contained dungeon loop with a clear objective driving the pacing.
Continuing Series
Tree of Aeons 8 by Spaizzzer
The final volume. Aeon carries the fight into the inner demonic worlds and goes after the source of the incursion directly. The premise stays unusual to the end. The protagonist is a tree, so his power grows through soul forging, slow physical expansion, and the allies he accumulates across centuries. The serial drew close to fifteen million views across Royal Road and ScribbleHub before the ebook run, and this volume closes the arc. If you have been waiting for Tree of Aeons to finish, it is finished.
Battlemage by Brad Botz
Book six of Earth Reformation. Ivor takes a new Class that unlocks better spells and slows his leveling to a crawl, so the book is built around finding ways to advance anyway, which sends him to the human planet Gaia to train out of sight. The series runs an overpowered main character with full stat screens, skills, and visible level progression. Concealment is a recurring structure here. Ivor hides his real strength and the reader waits for the reveal. Suits readers who want empire management layered over personal power growth.
Oath of the Survivor 5 by James Meyer
Kyle is a Healer-class protagonist working jobs out of the Hub. This volume splits his attention between training with one of the Originators, developing his Core of the Parasitic Devourer, and joining an expedition to find Earth’s missing refugees. The series is apocalypse LitRPG with a rational-fiction bent, so his power growth comes out of reasoning carefully about his own abilities. Book five of six, with the finale scheduled for January 2027.
Spell Breaker by A.P. Gore and Patricia Jones
Arcane Academy book six. Daren Morin survives the White Dragon and inherits its curse, which locks up his mana on a timer and gives him about a hundred days before it kills him. He is stranded in a realm of the dead with one arm, and the way out runs through thousands of undead. His power system is theft-based. Daren is an archmage who takes power from his enemies, so an army of undead reads to him as raw material. Academy progression fantasy on a hard deadline. Book seven is scheduled for April 2027.
Stat Slap 9: The Crabbening by VK Slatter
Isabelle is stranded in an alternate-reality version of Thres with a forty-eight hour clock, a missing ally, a zombie army two days out, and a kobold rival who has seized the setting’s key resource by riding a giant crab. The Stat Slap Saga is comedic murderhobo LitRPG and it is openly aware of its own absurdity, down to a god-tier entity watching the protagonist’s nine-book crime spree from somewhere above the code. Go in for the jokes and the escalating stat abuse. Book nine of ten.
Eclipse by K. R. Noel
To Save Two Worlds book two. Fio is stuck in the world of Eden during the Eclipse, a near-extinction event where monsters pour out of breaks in the world, and she has to grow strong enough to survive the trip home before the interdimensional Keepers reach her soul. Progression is cultivation-style body and soul refinement under two archmage teachers, driven by constant combat pressure. The romance is sapphic and it gets real page time alongside the power growth.
Rise of the Class Smith 3 by Leon West
Levi Summers forges classes other people cannot make, builds monsters that fight above their rank, and recycles dead assassins’ gear into dungeon upgrades. Book three puts every freelance crew in the Midwest after his Dungeon Lord crown, including his girlfriend’s father. This is a dungeon-building LitRPG with a harem structure, and a large share of the page count goes to the relationships and a fake-dating subplot with a fox-kin streamer. Worth knowing before you start. The crafting and the romance split the book about evenly.
Notable on Royal Road
Escape Artist [A Final Boss Retirement LitRPG] by ZEmersonWrites
Thirty-four chapters in and holding a Rising Stars spot. The hook is a final boss who wants to quit, wrapped in a time loop with kingdom building and crafting tags. Serial, updating, free to read.
Spirit Gardener: Infinite Rewards by A.R.H
A female-led cultivation LitRPG built around gardening as the progression mechanic. Forty-five chapters and roughly 240,000 views, which is fast growth for a wuxia-tagged serial. Good fit for readers who want cozy cultivation with a visible reward loop.
Emissary of Nothingness [LitRPG | Slow Burn Isekai] by GreyPilgrim_EoN
The biggest LitRPG entry on Rising Stars this week at over 4,300 followers and 427,000 views. Slow-burn isekai with grimdark tags, fifty-two chapters posted. The slow-burn tag is honest, so start it expecting a long ramp.
